Painted on a hanging sign board I found amongst burnt wood in the abandoned structure of the Bolinas 2 Mile Surf Shop that burned down in 2020. I painted Hearsay News, to hang in front of the Bolinas Hearsay News office, (our local newspaper). I was inspired by the color pallet, style, and typefaces of the late artist Margaret Kilgallen.
